Monday, Jul. 14, 2003 9:27 p.m. Each moment, as it is lived, slips inevitably into the past, never to be experienced again. I suppose that's why we take photos or make videotapes of people, places, events. We write in diaries, fill shoeboxes with scraps and mementos, all in an attempt to keep in touch with the present as it turns into the past. back / forward best viewed in 1024x768 |
