music, lunch. and role-playing with friends

Ah, much better. Nothing like a great day to relieve what ails you.

I spent the morning at school traveling from class to class, searching for food from end-of-schoolyear parties and the like.

Once I had gathered enough sustenance from my travels, I headed to my homeroom to finish sorting various things and performing various tasks for my homeroom teacher. Mr. Park in return, gave me a box of original sheets of sheet music (some of which are more than eighty years old!) and took me out to eat Thai food with Mr. Santiago, Ms. Park, and Ms. Searcy. It was delicious.

When we returned, the teachers had a meeting to attend so I lingered about the school halls for a while. See, I couldn't go home because the box of sheet music that I was given weighed upwards of sixty pounds. So while I waited for the teachers, I walked about aimlessly striking up conversation with anyone willing, including: lunch ladies; security guards; visiting alumni; and this really neat girl named Savitre. It's too bad she lives in Florida, I would've liked hanging out with her.

When the teachers finished what they had to do, I got a ride home from Mr. Park. He came into my empty house with me and called it "cozy", not detecting any of the evil or malice that's inherently present to my friends. Not that I'm calling him oblivious or anything, he just had nothing to suspect.

When he left, I grabbed some lotion from the bathroom and rubbed it on my shoulder and my back. The bruises from the altercations yesterday and Tuesday are starting to show, and they felt abysmal.

But when I finished, I left and headed off to be with friends before the parents arrived.

They've inadvertly taught me to value every moment outside.
