I caught a cold in June. What the hell? I'm sniffling, I'm sneezing, I'm wheezing, I'm coughing, I'm aching, and definitely groaning. This is not a good way to welcome the summer.

My classmates were gone today, I was the only person in my homeroom. I have dozens of acquaintances, and they all gave me the doubletake.

"Aren't you a senior?"

"Didn't the seniors graduate?"

"Hey how was the prom last night?"

I kept getting questions like that all day, and it grated on my nerves.

My orchestra class had about six people in it, my Drama class had three. And Psychology consisted of only Russ and me.

And the looks I got from some people, I just wanted to melt away.
